Weather in the Town of Oakland

Thank you for voting!

The Town of Oakland had an 85% voter turnout on November 3rd!    A total of 690 votes were cast; 303 were absentee or early voters.  65 new voters registered between October 15th and November 3rd.

Special thanks to our dedicated election team of workers:  Mary Strub, Lynn Shellenbarger, Lynda Weber, Cleo Janish, Linda Kulbeck, Mary Zimmer, Duane Gatzke, Donna Bossman, Jim Garfunkel and Art Benson.  Many townships struggled this year to find enough poll workers for the many elections held…we not only have several workers who have helped out year after year but several new volunteers.  They make sure the process works!
