NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING FOR TOWN OF OAKLAND, BURNETT COUNTY
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, November 12th, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Oakland Town Hall located at 7456 Main St. W., Webster, WI, the Oakland Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for 2027. The following is a summary of the proposed 2027 budget. A detailed account of the 2027 proposed budget is on file with the Town Clerk and can be obtained by contacting the Town Clerk via phone at 715-520-0735.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING FOR THE TOWN OF OAKLAND
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, November 12th, 2026, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing of the 2027 Town Budget, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Oakland Town Hall at 7456 Main St. W., Webster, WI, a Special Town Meeting of the Electors is called pursuant to Sec. 60.12 (1) (c) of Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes:
1. To approve the total highway expenditure for 2027 pursuant to Sec. 82.03 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
2. To adopt the 2026 Town tax levy to be collected in 2027, pursuant to Sec. 60.10 (1) (a) of Wisconsin Statutes.
